Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions families ask most often before starting care.

We typically begin within 24–48 hours after your consultation. For urgent situations — such as a hospital discharge — we do our best to arrange same-day or next-day placement when a compatible caregiver is available.

Every caregiver undergoes a thorough national background check, reference verification, skills assessment, and in-person interview. They complete our orientation training program and must hold current CPR and first aid certification before their first assignment.

We take compatibility very seriously. If the match isn't right, simply let your care coordinator know and we will arrange a new caregiver at no cost to you. We want your loved one to feel completely comfortable.

Medicare may cover certain skilled nursing or therapy services ordered by a physician. Our social support and daily living services are generally covered by long-term care insurance, Medicaid waiver programs, and private pay. Our care coordinators can help you explore all available options.

We generally require a minimum of 4 hours per visit for scheduled care. For 24-hour in-home services, separate arrangements apply. We do our best to be flexible around your family's specific needs.

We serve families in Terre Haute, West Terre Haute, Brazil, and surrounding communities in Vigo County and the broader Wabash Valley. Contact us to confirm coverage for your specific address.
